This is one of the biggest mistakes companies can make in designinig websites. This mistake waste your valuable time and money.
Some people in Malaysia build websites not because of their companies' goals and their companies' requirements, but they build websites because of their friends and families. When:
- their friends A tell them that their websites are not beautiful, they build new websites.
- their friends B tell them that their websites are not beautiful, they build new websites.
- their families tell them that their websites are not beautiful, they build another websites.
- their relatives tell them that their websites are not beautiful, they build another websites.
I am wondering, who actually are the owners of their companies? Their friends, their families or their relatives. Don't misunderstand me. If you are one of them, you can listen to their opinions and advices, but eventually you are the ones who make decision.
Since you are the owners of your companies, you should understand what your companies need in designing websites. What your companies' goals, visions, missions, sales targets, etc. YOU SHOULD DESIGN WEBSITES FOR YOUR COMPANIES, not for your friends, families and relatives. If you build websites and make money from them because you know what your companies' goals are, you should be very proud of it. But if you build websites and fail to make money from them because you listen to your friends, families and relatives' advices, no one will care about you. Unless, your friends, families and relatives know what your companies need.
Companies and websites work closely can generate huge income, it should be that way! :)
